At its heart, New York: The First Ten Years is about my journey to find and embrace my creative voice during my first decade as a New Yorker. Through these photographs, you’ll see the city as I see it: inspirational, beautiful, challenging, contradictory, and sometimes—lonely.

This show also marks a return to my love of alternative and historic photographic processes by incorporating prints using platinum/palladium, albumen, salt, and other techniques that date back to the earliest days of the medium.

This exhibit and educational programs are partially funded by a DCA Premier Grant from Staten Island Arts, with public funding from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.
